About the Role

The position of RedCap, Baret and Dragon Medical One System Administrator (Full Time) is part of the Digital & Information Division's Partner Services team.

Reporting to the Head of Partner Services, Digital & Information Division, the RedCap, Baret and Dragon Medical One (DMO) System Administrator’s role is to provide application support for:

  • RedCap – a software application used across most health services for the capture and analysis of data. It is fundamentally a research tool. (approximately 2 days per week)
  • Baret - a secure, role-based clinical communication plug in to MicroSoft Teams, that enables structured, closed loop communication for Monash Health clinicians. (approximately 2 days per week) 
  • Dragon Medical One - a secure, cloud‑based speech recognition solution for clinicians to securely document complete patient care in the Electronic Medical Record (approximately 1 day per week)

 

About You

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in a system administrator role or similar.

Technical skills:

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and documentation skills.
  • A strong desire and capability to listen, analyse and recommend.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Excellent time and personnel management skills.
  • Ability to work within deadlines.
  • Experience with clinical communication systems or healthcare IT.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 platform and Teams functionality

Some travel may be required between Monash Health sites. This role involves working closely with the deputy Chief Medical Informatics Officer in Medical informatics and other Informatics team members, particularly for Baret and Dragon Medical One
