About the Role:

Join our team as a Grade 2 Podiatrist on a part-time basis (0.2 EFT, 15.6 hours per fortnight), fixed term 12 month parental leave role, working at Monash Health Community in Springvale.

As part of the Child and Family Program, you will:

  • Work closely within a multidisciplinary team of clinicians
  • Deliver meaningful, high-quality care in the community setting
  • Work in co-consult Gait Clinic with physiotherapists
  • Gain hands-on experience in a well-established paediatric service
  • Be mentored and supported as you expand your clinical skills

 

About Us:

The Child and Family Program is comprised of numerous disciplines that focus on the assessment and delivery of child and family focused care. The program consists of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Dieticians, Exercise Physiologist, Podiatrists, Psychologists, Counsellor, Social Workers, Family Support Worker and Community Development Workers. The team is committed to working with communities, families and individuals who have poor health outcomes and to providing high quality, multidisciplinary programs which embrace child and family centred practice, evidence based practice and the Social Model of Health.

 

About You:

To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

  • Dedication to safe best practice and quality care
  • Commitment to delivering patient centred care & patient advocacy
  • A compassionate, collaborative approach to practice
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Experience in Community Health or paediatric practice desirable
